Once upon a time, there was a beautiful rose garden known for lots of romantic episodes.
People confessed love in the dome and planted a rose wishing their long lasting love.
And, lots of couples were born there.
One young lady showed up there to check the condition.
Her name was Gabriel.
She was the manager of the garden.
She was a kind, beautiful girl who loved flowers, animals, and little children.
And she was liked by everyone.
Her attractive and pure smile cheered visitors.
And she was happy to do so.
She liked to work there.
Whenever she walked in the park, the smell of the fresh roses made her calm and happy.
One day, when she was carefully checking each flower she found a little blue bird on the ground.
She looked so weak.
Gabriel stopped her work, and kindly carried her back to her room.
She named her Raphael and decided to take care of her.
“I always wanted a friend like you.
This is your new home.
You may stay here as much as you want.”
Said, she.
To welcome her, she even bought a beautiful cage as well.
Raphael recovered day by day with her great care.
And started to fly happily in the room.
Since Raphael flew so happily that Gabrielleft her as she liked and did not use the cage at all in the end.
After all, Raphael slept like a child on her chest every night.

Raphael liked and thanked her very much and started to think of the best way to make her happy in return.
Even though Gabriel smiled a lot outside in order to cheer up people, she often looked sad when she was alone in the room.
Raphael tried to cheer her up with her beautiful singing but it didn't work.
In fact, Gabriel was suffering from a heavy love.
She loved someone but had suddenly lost contact 1 year ago.
Two years ago, she met up with a boy called Derek while studying abroad.
He was a handsome and sensitive boy from a beautiful island and was always kind to her.
Soon she fell in love and started to date him.
Her parents said she became crazy for love, but the encounter with him had changed her life significantly since then.

They were planning on meeting again, but the ports were closed due to the long heavy storm.
Meanwhile, they decided to exchange snail mails.
They felt happy whenever they found handwritings or small gifts in the letters as if the person was nearby.
While Gabriel put a beautiful rose in the letter, Derek put a flower from his garden near the seaside.
As such,on her desk piles of letters, a dried flower, and a photo frame were there.
The letters were all they had exchanged with each other.
And, the flower placed on the desk was a gift from Derek.
There was a photo of them taken last year together as well.
All of them made her happy.
However, all of sudden he had stopped responding to her message.
It was quite depressive.
Gabriel really hated the situation.
She was not sure why he had stopped it.
“Probably, he must have found someone.”
She even thought so, but couldn't forget about him.
The memory with him was too big to throw away.
No matter how far he was, his presence was very big.
Every night, she lit a candle light.
Candle lights always calmed her soul.
And,she carried a cup of hot jasmine tea and chocolates, and placed them on the desk.
Gentle aroma always made her better.

Then, took a pen and wrote for him.
This was her daily habit.
However,it was still a terrible feeling to write for someone who would not respond.
This night, Gabriel finally burst into crying while writing how much she was missing him.
Raphael couldn't stand it anymore.
She knew she was not fully recovered yet but flew away from the window toward the sea holding her last letter in order to convey in place of her when the dawn had arrived.
She didn't know the specific location.
“ However, if I crossed the sea, I would be able to reach it.”
She had instinctively understood the location was beyond the sea by the slight scent of the sea from Derek's letter and the specific piece of flower on the desk.
She flew further, as much as she could.
Raphael had lost her soul mate before.
She knew how sad it was that lovers couldn't see each other for a long time.
Considering her situation, she couldn't help but take action.
Near the seaside, one light house was seen and white building was found nearby.
It was the hospital Derek had been carried due to a serious illness.
Derek was a sensitive beautiful boy.
The terrible depression he had encountered due to the lack of the contact with Gabriel brought huge illness and was carried there.
His condition kept getting worse and worse regardless of the great care in the hospital.
Any letters nor electric devices were not allowed to be brought.
His doctor, Daria knew that love could be a bad medicine as well.
And, wanted him to concentrate on his recovery leaving aside the love romance for now.
He was in such a serious situation and this was the reason why he couldn't contact her.
For now, all he could do was to see the sky from the window in the room and wish her peace.
Then from somewhere a beautiful bird came and stood in front of the window.
It was Raphael.
Derek felt familiar with her.
Derek thought it a kind of bird Gabriel would probably love.
Raphael must have searched him everywhere in the city.
She looked very weak and her wings were even injured.
After recognising him, Raphael placed a letter at the side of the window.
He wondered but took it.
Having seen the signature on the envelope, he understood that the letter was addressed from Gabriel to him.
It was quite surprising but the miracle had happened, he thought so.
He was told by his doctor that he would not live long at this rate.
His last wish was the happiness of Gabriel.
He opened it.
"Dear my love…"
The hand scripted of whom he missed and loved the most showed up.
He felt as if she was just in front of him and was crying in his chest.
Her tearful message filled his vacant heart.
And, while reading it, tears ran in his cheeks.
“You carried this for me.
Thank you so much.
However,my life will end soon.
Please let her know how much I loved her.”
Said he to Raphael.
He wrote a letter and quickly passed it to her.
Raphael travelled back to her home.
It was the last longest flight in her life.
When Raphael went back to Gabriel's home, she was so exhausted and seriously injured.
“Oh, my, where were you?!
I was really worried about you.”
Surprised Gabriel let her come in her palms.
Having seen Gabriel's face, she was relieved.
And, this time finally and silently ended her life on her palms feeling her love.
Gabriel was shocked and started to cry miserably holding her.
Then she opened the letter wondering what she had carried.
What Gabriel had found was a piece of note and a marriage ring from Derek.
“What?!”
She was confused but soon realized that Raphael had travelled such a long distance to search him.
“Raphael, I am sorry.
You did such a sweet thing for me.
Thank you. ”
Due to the long heavy storm, people were restricted to go out.
People tended to think of no future nor love for themselves anymore .
But, the future and love surely exist beyond the dark.
She held her tightly and promised her to be strong.
A few years had passed.
The long storm was getting over.
Ports opened again.
Derek was cured.
Her last letter became a ray of light and gave him hope and power to live.
Love is indeed a ray of light in the dark whatever the situation is.
It was the time Gabriel was doing the regular duty.
His sudden visit made her surprised.
After admitting themselves to each other, Gabriel dropped her water can and ran toward him.
Then, they had a long embracement in the rose garden.
Their own time hadn't changed at all even if others, such as buildings ,streets, and societies had changed.
His chest and smell, the eyes toward her had never been changed.
On the same day, he offered her a rose.
And, as they had promised before, they married in front of the mount where Raphael had slept in peace.
Leaves and the scent of flowers flew in the wind.
From somewhere, the beautiful singing of a bird was heard.
The End.
